Getting up close with the criminal justice system

Last year marked the 50th anniversary of a landmark report on criminal justice titled “The Challenge of Crime in a Free Society.
It was summertime when my foot started hurting.
Last year, as a junior in high school, I learned a big lesson in humbly trusting God to lead me where I need to be.
God’s love is always present as the supreme and exclusive force of the universe—always available, always speaking, always blessing, always embracing everyone.
One way to look at being “exalted” is being lifted up out of error or sin by divine mercy.
