Healing of condition on fingers

The blessings I’ve experienced through the study and practice of Christian Science could easily fill a book. They are so much a part of my life that hardly a day goes by that I don’t find something about which I could testify. But there have been some occasions when the blessing of a physical healing is especially noteworthy. It is one such healing that inspired this testimony.

Many years ago, I was dismayed when a manicurist mentioned a place on one of my fingers that she said was “unhealthy looking” and stated that she felt uncomfortable doing my nails anymore. After this, even though I’d been aware that there was an issue, I went into quite a long period of denial, in which my thinking was, essentially, “This, too, shall pass.”

I’m sorry to say that I didn’t pray consistently about this then, nor did I ask for treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. Eventually, the condition worsened. It also appeared on an adjacent finger and began to hurt. I became more concerned by its appearance and began to take special care with the hand, especially in the winter.
