Christlike patience
Originally published in Portuguese
Though Jesus was judged
and suffered under the cries
of an unforgiving world,
he maintained a calm attitude;
he knew how to plant the seed
of forgiveness.
All are protected;
we can overcome problems.
If we are under an attack of fury,
supreme defenses come
from the infinite.
True man is dressed in light,
created with good thoughts.
Evil has no basis; therefore, it languishes
in the shadows of the mistake of hostile
reasonings.
I continue onward on the road of Love,
reaping treasures that come only
from the Divine.
The great everlasting mountains rejoice
at God’s message echoed in the
meadows.
We are all devout children of the God
who heals us,
washed in the sea of innocence.
True Christians stand firm
in the rule of divine patience.
