Promise and fulfillment
James Walter
A faucet holds the promise of flowing water.
Turn on the tap,
and the promise is fulfilled
in a refreshing, uninterrupted stream.
Each day is like a faucet.
It holds the promise of increasing harmony.
We turn on the tap through prayer,
which opens thought
to divine Love’s flood tide of ideas,
and find its ready fulfillment each moment
in full-flowing goodness.
