I was able to go on the class trip!
A few years ago, at my friend’s house, I got curious about the axes in his garage and asked him to show me how to use one. There was an adult in the house, but they weren’t in the garage. My friend knew how to handle the axes, and he showed me. When I swung the axe, though, I accidentally dropped it on my foot and got a deep cut.
Initially, I blamed my friend, but then quickly accepted responsibility. I’d had a thought before swinging the axe that it wasn’t a good idea, but I’d ignored that thought because I’d wanted to look cool, and I thought I could handle it.
I immediately turned to prayer. I attend Christian Science Sunday School and have had other healings, so this made sense.
