“The Christ is born today!”
As Christ is revealed to human consciousness, we begin to understand our connection to God as the power behind Jesus’ healings.
For many, Christmas is a time of joy, deep worship, and gratitude to God for showing us the light through Christ Jesus. It’s the celebration of Jesus’ birth and the subsequent revealing of the Christ-power that he possessed and practiced—and taught his followers to practice as well.
In his ministry, Jesus demonstrated God’s love and care for all people, approaching everyone he met without prejudice, regardless of race, color, gender, religious beliefs, or social standing. He spent three years preaching, teaching, and healing to show what Christ, Truth, is, and how every person can put this understanding into practice.
The Bible tells us that man was made in the image and likeness of God (see Genesis 1:26, 27). Jesus was the embodiment of the spiritual life that evidenced this truth. Though his teachings were often contrary to the established religious beliefs and practices of his time, he proved that the true identity of each of us is the reflection of God, our Father-Mother.
