What are your thoughts of the Bible?
The Bible is truly a recipe book for all healing.
Do you see the Bible as a collection of beautiful literature filled with poetic passages? A historical account of famous figures and events that happened long ago? A vital guide to worshiping God and living a meaningful life? Maybe a combination of all of these. Or maybe you haven’t given the Bible any thought at all or feel it isn’t relevant to your life and times.
Either way, it’s time for a fresh look. Where else can you find the solution for every problem in the human experience—from illness, including seemingly hopeless conditions, to challenging personal relationships and even conflicts between nations?
The better we know the Bible, the better we understand God and the closer we grow to Him. We see that God has not changed over time and has lost none of His power to heal and save those who turn to Him. We are then in a better position to help and heal not only ourselves but others as well. As the Bible says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (II Timothy 3:16, 17).
