From God alone
James Walter
God is Mind,
knowing all there is to know.
How can I know aught
that He knows not?
God is Soul,
seeing all there is to see.
How can I see aught
that He sees not?
God is Life,
the great I am.
How can I be aught
that He is not?
Reflecting God in all my ways,
expressing Him throughout each day,
how can I have aught
but what I ought—
all good
from God alone?
