God’s message at eventide
![](/var/sentinel/storage/images/media/images/poem-gettyimages-1397651898/15588537-1-eng-US/poem-gettyimages-1397651898_fullwidth.jpg)
Sun sinks west
at God’s behest;
as I look east,
my glorious feast
is pink—
like lemonade.
Pink sea, pink hulls,
pink sand, pink gulls,
I watch, gaze fixed,
as colors, remixed,
delight—
like a child’s smile.
This beauty at
the edge of night
hints the heart
of Soul’s pure light
is Love—
Love’s kiss before bed.
God’s all around;
let joy abound.
Our Mother, ever near,
says, “Peace, be still,
My little one—
for I am always here.”
Barb Goodspeed Grant
