Healing of sudden illness

Early one morning when I got out of bed, I fell to my knees and could not get up. I was also nauseated. I felt there was nothing I could do to cope with this unexpected situation. When my husband saw me, he was so surprised that he called an ambulance.

But even as I was on my way to the hospital, I listened to God and let His truth guide me, and I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked for prayer.

The practitioner told me to trust my spiritual sense—my understanding that God was with me—and to pray with the Lord’s Prayer, given to us by Christ Jesus, to deepen my understanding of its meaning.
