Healed of sudden paralysis
Originally published in French
Through attending Christian Science Sunday School, I have learned countless wonderful things, such as how to heal. In Sunday School I learned to turn to God in prayer to find solutions to any situation that may occur.
For instance, one night I woke up paralyzed on my right side. I could not move, nor could I speak to wake up my brother, who was sleeping next to me. That night, I had been experiencing pain throughout my body. Fear that the end had come overtook me.
But as a Christian Science Sunday School student, I knew I could deny this as an aggressive suggestion of mortal mind (the counterfeit of the one Mind, God). So, I turned to God in prayer to understand my true nature as a child of God—spiritual, permanent, and pure always, including at that moment.
