Healing is within reach

The Christ acts naturally within thought to counteract all physical and mental concerns and fears. It heals. It destroys disease. It wipes away all tears.
If we ever feel stuck, without a sense of meaning in what we do, or feel uncertain about our path forward, we can trust God’s law of progress.
The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
It’s been particularly helpful to me to understand that the God who guided Daniel in the Bible has been doing the same for me throughout my career.
Within a few days the warts had completely disappeared. While the physical healing was indeed a real joy, it was especially dear to me because it was proof that everything I was learning in Christian Science about God and my spiritual identity was the truth.
Even though I didn’t know how things would work out, I trusted the promise that God meets every need.
I turned to God in prayer to understand my true nature as a child of God—spiritual, permanent, and pure always, including at that moment.
As I began to know more about my relationship to God, the stifling thoughts of unworthiness fell away. I lost all desire for alcohol.
Immediately, what came to thought were the many healings I’d had as the result of prayer, and I knew this would be no exception.
In both Jewish and Greek tradition, eyesight and light symbolize understanding or revelation.
