This article reminded me of a time when I was teaching six-year-olds. The class was a little too noisy, and eventually I thought it needed prayer. I said, “God, I need more patience.” The answer came immediately: “You already have all the patience you need.” The noise level lowered immediately, and the children got on with their work. I was in awe at the speed of the response and haven’t questioned patience since.
