Reverse pernicious beliefs
Nothing can exclude us from the experience of harmony.
One early morning, the word pernicious kept coming to my thought. It seemed an intuition worth pursuing.
A merriam-webster.com definition of the word uses the synonyms injurious and deadly. Antonyms include beneficial and good.
In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy uses pernicious several times. In one passage, referring to our duty to emulate Jesus’ example, she says: “Christians claim to be his followers, but do they follow him in the way that he commanded? Hear these imperative commands: ‘Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect!’ ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature!’ ‘Heal the sick!’
