A clarion call to church
There comes a time when we must look
deeply into our hearts and ask,
Am I loving enough?
Am I setting self
and pride aside in humility?
Is God’s precious love for all
filling my heart
with kindness
and putting another’s
welfare first?
For this is how,
in humility’s bow of promise,
our dear church
moves forward
to bless the world;
and this is how,
in all its beauty and grandeur
as God’s structure
of Truth and Love—
found in the sacred sanctuary
of our hearts—
“the Church Universal and Triumphant” Man. 19:6 the
heals.
