the Christ dawns

despite 
all the 
railings
against 
the day

dawn 
slips in
once again
unencumbered
unflapped
by the noise
of the world

hush
o all beloveds

behold the
constant
unhurried
dawn
of Christ

it is the 
silent song
of peace
in you
rhapsody in stillness
unspeakable joy

and here 
you are
dwelling
in light
divine Love’s 
borderless halo
shining
and you
truly
alight
with light
