God’s gift, Jesus’, and ours

This is the heart of Christmas, the offering Jesus so freely gave—the spiritual understanding and demonstration of God’s great gift, ever-present eternal Life.
Christmastime is a perfect occasion for understanding the significance of God’s sheltering love and how Christ ushers this love for the babe of Christian healing into our humble hearts.
Our role as Christians is to profoundly sense humanity’s need for salvation from suffering and to find this salvation ourselves in seeing our lives as expressing God—for everyone’s sake.
It is logical and important to listen for what our Father-Mother God knows of us, since each of us is His very good creation, always safe and perfect.
I silently prayed, affirming the truth that divine Mind governs all the functions of the body harmoniously. Harmony is the law of God.
With my thought engaged completely in Spirit, Truth, and Love, the hours passed in what seemed like no time at all, and I suddenly realized that each symptom I’d been experiencing had vanished.
Pushing fear aside, I just listened. The response was a deep certainty that Life is God—and that that is enough. God is enough. With that, I knew my horse would be—in fact already was in that moment—just fine.
To early followers of Christ Jesus, the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit represented the empowering influence of God’s presence.
