Vision issue cured
When I was in high school, I experienced a distressing issue with my vision that would last a few minutes each time before my vision returned to normal. Each time this happened, the symptoms seemed to last longer than the time before. This occurred over a period of about a month.
After one particular episode, which lasted quite a bit longer than the others, I was quite frightened, and I decided it was time to call a Christian Science practitioner. I had attended Christian Science Sunday School in various countries as I grew up and had gone to church some Wednesday nights with my mother and heard the testimonies shared there. In the Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal magazines, I’d read about people being healed, and I’d had several healings of my own through Christian Science treatment. So in this situation, I turned to it with full confidence.
I explained the problem to the practitioner. While I don’t remember specifically what she said or asked me about, I am sure she was seeing me as God does—governed by His laws, His Science, not by matter or supposed material laws.
