Thank you, God
“O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul;
thou hast redeemed my life.” Lamentations 3:58
How many times has God done just that for you?
(Pleaded my cause? What?)
How many times have you been protected from making a mistake—
a wrong move—
been led in the right direction?
(OK, but redeemed my life?)
We may never know how many times we have been protected—
at a red light,
by a warning comment,
by a professional decision,
by something said
or something done
or a right move at the right time or . . .
“O Lord . . . thou hast redeemed my life.”
It was You, God,
always You—
the Spirit,
the Life.
Thank you, dear God.
