Seed and wheat, no chaff
We do not need a whirlwind to separate chaff from wheat,
For a gentle breeze blows chaff away, leaves the grain complete.
The tender breath of Spirit, which is everywhere, supreme,
Softly takes away all matter—like chaff, an empty dream.
The mountains and the hills, once large, are simply now no more,
Replaced by Spirit’s glory, shown as God’s eternal store.
Rejoice, O man: One grain of Truth is all you really need,
For it reveals the whole of Life—yes, from the one small seed.
The error then is blown away, whatever size appears,
For each and every grain of faith will dissipate our fears.
As Jesus said, Oh, just look up, and see the harvest here,
And know in such completeness, perfection must appear.
In God’s eternal kingdom, seed and wheat unite as one;
The Word of God breathes sweetly, reaches out just like the sun:
You are Mine, beloved daughter and beloved son!
