The path of freedom
God’s Word is
truly guiding my way,
teaching me to be better
—a better Christian Scientist.
God is molding me.
He is showing me the man He knows me to be.
Behind these walls,
my eyes shimmering with tears,
I’ve never had anyone love me like God does.
I have spent my life getting it wrong,
and now I’ll spend eternity
allowing God to guide my every step
to get it right.
I’m thankful to know that God never changes.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
He gives me the help, the hope, the confidence
to continue fighting “the good fight of faith.” I Timothy 6:12
Amid my difficulties behind these walls,
God is my rock, my Mother, my friend.
So who am I?
I’m not a failure.
I’m not a lowly prisoner.
I’m the child of God.
I’m a Christian Scientist.
I’m a free man!
