Instantly healed
I have had many healings through Christian Science as a child, adolescent, and adult. Some have come about through my own study and prayer. Others occurred when I humbly asked someone, such as a relative or a Christian Science practitioner, to pray for and with me. Some healings were quick, even instantaneous, while others came after much prayer.
Over a year ago I had an experience that proved to me that no matter how long a condition has persisted, no matter how much a part of us it seems, it can be healed because the key to healing is always right at hand. The “inspired Word of the Bible” is “our sufficient guide to eternal Life” (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 497), and Science and Health unlocks the healing truths of the Bible.
For almost two years I had a spinal condition that made normal movement as well as breathing deeply quite uncomfortable. At times I asked for treatment through prayer from a Christian Science practitioner. Other times, I continued praying on my own.
