God’s creature proven harmless
A recent focus of mine has been to love all of God’s ideas—His individual expressions of Life and Love, including every one of His creatures. This came about because of the following experience.
Crawling into bed one night, I felt a bit of pain in my back. The pain increased toward morning to the point where sitting in a chair was difficult. I thought that I had possibly been bitten by something, and I realized that fear needed to be overcome immediately.
Later that morning I contacted a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer, and she lovingly accepted the case. We discussed the importance of not believing that an idea of God could be an aggressor or in any way harm another of His ideas—so, no victimizer and no victim. This was a kind of microcosm of what I’d been praying about with regard to the current world situation.
