Glimpses of Truth
“You are free”
Last year, my husband and I traveled from New Zealand to the United Kingdom to visit our daughter. In preparation for the trip, I prayed, knowing God would be taking care of every detail.
While we were away, I began experiencing a urinary problem. We were attending an activity that was to last for the whole day, but the symptoms were very disruptive, and one of them in particular made me quite fearful. So, I listened for spiritual, healing ideas.
Christ Jesus’ words to a woman he healed came to mind: “Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity” (Luke 13:12). A short while later, these comforting words reassured me: “Daughter, thou art healed.” Finally, this thought came to me firmly: “You are free.”
Right away, I knew I was healed. The symptoms were gone shortly afterward, and I was able to go ahead and fully enjoy the day’s activity. The healing has remained complete and permanent.
I’m so grateful for this healing, for our Father-Mother God’s great love, and for the knowledge that from beginning to end our journey was in God’s hands.
