Doctrine of Atonement

The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord,  
     and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel. . . . 
And those who go astray in spirit will come to understanding,

“Meek” and “poor” may describe God’s people as a whole or individuals who are humble or needy. Either way, Isaiah prophesies restoration and deliverance.
