A little child shall lead them
Carol Barker
Not as the Pharisees, bound by their blindness,
nor as the scribes, fettered by law,
but “as a little child,”1
innocent and pure,
drinking in the wonder and glory of Love’s allness.
So are we led to the light of Truth’s fountain
to drink of that water which never runs dry—
led by innocence, purity, meekness,
bathed in the radiance that flows from on high.
