Founded and grounded
Wandering in a wilderness of wonder
(I wonder what will become of me? I wonder who I am?),
I climbed the rock for a higher view.
With firm footing,
I found its immoveable, undisturbed breadth.
Lessons on God as Life, Love, and Light
called me back to remind me
I stand on that eternal Rock,
firmly fixed as a child of God, founded and grounded.
—Kim Crooks Korinek
