When grim predictions provoke fear and worry, is there anything we can do? This author explains how a deeper understanding of God and God’s universe can alleviate fear and even overturn what might seem like inevitabilities.
Looking back at my friend, I reasoned that Jesus would not have driven off.
During this prayer, my purpose in life expanded into seeing that my desire was to serve God.
I was tasked with seeing my daughter’s spiritual nature and rejecting anything that claimed otherwise.
“While presidents and prime ministers come and go,” writes this author, “the real power and authority in our lives always has been, and always will be, the one eternal, divine Mind that guided and inspired the biblical prophets and was fully represented by Christ Jesus.”
When it seemed like there was no end to her loneliness, this author first felt overwhelmed and anxious … then had a surprising realization that completely changed her state of mind.
As a lifelong Christian Scientist, I have witnessed the health, protection, and care that come from Christian Science treatment, and I have never been disappointed.
Recently, I awoke in the middle of the night feeling suddenly very ill.
