Child’s fever gone

I would like to share a healing for which I am most grateful, one that has given me confidence in God’s ability to properly care for His children.

Once when I was a new mother several years ago, our very small son had a high fever. My husband and I were praying, but when bedtime came around and I couldn’t help the child settle peacefully, I started to become fearful. I reached out to a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful support.

As soon as I called, the practitioner sensed my fear and spoke with such sweet assurance of our Father-Mother God’s love and ability to care for each of Her children. We talked for several minutes, and then she asked me to sit quietly in my son’s room and pray about the concept of purity, while she continued to support us with metaphysical treatment in Christian Science.
