Diagnosed ulcers healed
In 2017, several months after my wife and I started attending Christian Science services, she began suffering from ulcers. Many times, especially during the night, I had to rush her to the hospital because of the pain. This recurred about every one and a half months. It sparked a lot of questions in my mind as to how to find healing. As a student of Christian Science, I knew that God had a perfect answer based on the spiritual understanding of life as actually divine Life or God.
I pondered deeply this verse from the Scriptures: “I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee” (Isaiah 41:13).
It was a time of listening to God and standing firmly on His direction. As the situation escalated, physicians examined my wife and released scary reports. They said she needed surgery. When I heard this, I asked the doctor for more time, to which my wife consented. I wanted space to pray—to submit all to God, knowing from the heart that my wife holds an important place in God’s spiritual creation and is inseparable from divine Love, God.
