Turn

It seemed so real,
when, through tears,
I felt as though
God had gone
and in Her place
was fear.

I cried out to Her
and She held me in Love,
wrapped me in comfort
with a bow of promise.
And, lifting me above,

She bid me turn, turn.
So, with Her might, I turned
from darkness towards
the light.
And there
was Christ!

Christ, voicing good,
revealed the Truth, eternal Life
and I stood
upright—victory won.

Now, in God’s work, I rest.
Christ guides me
to dear Mother,
and I rejoice in Her loveliness.
