Healed of stiffness and difficulty moving
I had a quick healing a couple of summers ago that I attribute to the fact that I had been reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy from cover to cover. I had felt especially strengthened by this reading.
I was visiting some friends who live a thousand miles away from me. On my first morning in their home, I woke up feeling very stiff—especially in my legs—and I was limping around the bedroom. The suggestion came that I was just going to have to sit on the sidelines all day and not participate in the various activities that had been planned. These included a busy morning with a hike around a lake and a shopping trip, and then swimming and paddleboarding in the afternoon.
However, I quickly realized that the suggestion that I was unwell and would be dealing with this challenge all day could not be my thought! As a child of God, I am the recipient of only the good and pure thoughts that flow from divine Love.
