Do you remember a turning point?
On the web: The following JSH-Online.
In high school, while other teenagers were falling in love with their boyfriends and girlfriends, I was falling in love with The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel.

Truth and taxes

Tax season was upon us, and I turned to God in prayer.
Our Maker gave us divine dominion to prove His power over anything that opposes His perfect rule.
When we face a setback, we don’t need to accept anger or unhappiness as inevitable outcomes.

Begin with gratitude

Gratitude is one of the fundamental aspects of prayer.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.

No ‘smell of fire’

Growth on arm healed

A few years ago, I noticed that a growth on one of my arms that had been there for some time was growing larger.
I have seen the effectiveness of prayer as taught in Christian Science and have experienced healing throughout my life.
Some years ago, as I was talking with my dad one day, I suddenly asked him, “If it were possible to boil it all down to a single statement, what would be some great words to live by?
I had a quick healing a couple of summers ago that I attribute to the fact that I had been reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy from cover to cover.

'Where streams of living water flow ...'

Whatever the size of and reasons for our doubts, God’s love is bigger.
