Love’s comforting care
In the Gospel of John, Christ Jesus promises that the Father will send another Comforter, which will teach all things (see 14:16, 26).
The Comforter guides individuals to healing and brings to light the full salvation that Christ brings from all evil. Christian Science reveals that the Comforter is here; it is divine Science, the law of God, the law of Love and divine Mind. The Comforter is felt in so many ways. It shows the invincible scientific law of Love, which brings resolution to human situations, from the simplest to the greatest, even where no solution seems possible. Because the Comforter reveals the law of the all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful, all-loving divine Mind, when any of us turns to it wholeheartedly, we’re opening up to victory and healing.
When we understand the power of the Christ and the Comforter, we are equipped to see the individuals involved in any situation in their true spiritual nature, expressing God’s qualities of boundless good. As each of us strives to exemplify the patience and follow the precepts Christ Jesus taught, we are yielding to living the peace and dominion that come from the Comforter. Then we manifest the qualities of honesty, meekness, and love as we live in increased unselfishness. We’re letting in Love’s comforting care.
