Thanks so much for publishing Charlene Anne Miller’s article, “Disciplining thought,” in the July 18, 2016, Sentinel. She has perfectly presented the application of Mary Baker Eddy’s “A Rule for Motives and Acts” (see Church Manual, p. 40). When faced with the animosity of others and being tempted to exact revenge, we can “discipline our thought to be in harmony with God.”
