Back injury healed
This past summer, I had the opportunity to work on my college campus after school let out for the year. The work came at a good time. I was about to go to Boston to start work as an intern, and I would need some resources to get by.
One of the jobs that I was doing on campus involved a lot of physical labor, and on the first day I found myself with a back injury as a result of moving furniture. At first I just kept working, since I didn’t feel that any serious damage had been done. But a couple of days later I felt a lot of pain in my back and was limited in my ability to move.
Naturally, I was pretty disappointed about this injury. I was supposed to be earning money for the summer ahead of me. My boss told me to take it easy for the next few days, so I went home.
