Our son’s lack of focus was healed
When our son was in second grade, I witnessed a healing with him that carried tremendous power and proved the authority of divine Truth.
Just a few weeks into the school year, our son’s teacher called and expressed some concern over his ability to stay focused and complete work on time. I assured her that we would talk to him and address the problem the best we could at home, and I asked that she keep me informed of his behavior. After that first call, I began getting calls daily about his inefficiency and apparent inability to complete work in a timely manner. Every time the phone rang I would cringe!
Finally, one Thursday, the teacher called, and what she said brought me to tears. She told me that all of my son’s behaviors were clear symptoms of attention deficit disorder. She also knew that we were Christian Scientists. She said, “I don’t know how you want to handle this, but I would recommend taking him to the pediatrician as well as having our school psychologist test him.” I thanked her for her concern and, after hanging up the phone, sat down and cried.
