Some wonderful healings
The testimonies in the periodicals have always given me inspiration. I hope mine will do the same for other readers.
My first introduction to Christian Science was when I traveled from Florida to New Hampshire for a summer job to help pay for college. While there, I met my future husband and began learning from him of a “healing” religion. Having grown up actively participating in a Methodist church, I already had a firm foundation of faith in God. But I always felt there was something lacking. The moment I came in contact with Christian Science, I knew that healing had been the missing element.
Early in my marriage I read and studied the weekly Bible Lessons from the Christian Science Quarterly, which contain citations from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. I also studied these books independently of the Lesson.
