Finding the pearl of great price
As a young man I had a rather antagonistic and contemptuous attitude toward religion. The first I heard of Christian Science was when I met the woman who would later become my wife. When we married, I made it quite clear that I had no interest in her religious views.
So my introduction to the healing power of Christian Science came as an unexpected, but wonderful, surprise.
During the final stages of the birth of our second child in a local hospital, concern was being expressed about the well-being of the baby. All kinds of complications were being speculated upon, and I was becoming very fearful.
