How Christian Science found me
I recall as an elementary school student walking by a Christian Science Reading Room. I often wondered about the juxtaposition of the words Christian and Science. Surely those two terms had nothing in common, or so I thought at the time. I continued to walk on by.
Many years later, I reached a point in my life when the quest for the truth—the one divine Truth that is absolute, infallible, and divine—became an incessant demand from which I did not want to escape. With all my heart I wanted to know how to find it, what it meant, and that it was indeed divine—direct from God, having His sanction and authority.
I knew somehow that I was looking for a book that in addition to the Bible would make Truth plain and understandable—not relative or nebulous, but incontrovertible, solid as rock.
