Love dissolves opposition

For a number of years I had run a successful equestrian business, breeding and training dressage horses in a small country community. To enhance this activity and make the business economically viable, I had converted various farm buildings on the property, with the full support of the local development authority. Now I was in the final stages of a plan that entailed enlarging an existing farm access and repositioning the parking area.

During the time that this business venture had been gradually unfolding, the neighborhood had evolved from a rural area into a more residential community. With that shift had come a culture change, including some strong opposition to further development.

When my final planning application for a minor change was submitted, I was shocked to find that an onslaught of opposition was directed at me with unfounded allegations of wrong intention and activity made against me. The false and malicious nature of the allegations was deeply distressing, since I had always enjoyed a good standing in the community. I immediately contacted a Christian Science practitioner for metaphysical treatment.
