Thanks for Scott Preller’s editorial, “Moving to a new church,” in the September 21, 2015, Sentinel. It was so right on the money. I especially like the sentence, “Which sort of church experience we have turns out to be less dependent on what others are doing or how well they’re doing it than on us.”
Thanks for giving us a good mental shake! As Mary Baker Eddy says in Miscellaneous Writings, “The human heart, like a feather bed, needs often to be stirred, sometimes roughly, and given a variety of turns, else it grows hard and uncomfortable whereon to repose” (pp. 127–128).
