Enveloped in Mother-love
Two years ago, my husband, Mac, and I returned home from a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. He turned on the television and had been watching for about an hour when he said he didn’t feel well. In fact, he said, he felt really bad. I shared truths with him about God being his Father-Mother and reminded him that he is the perfect expression of God.
My husband is not an everyday practicing Christian Scientist, but for all our married life he has been very supportive of my practice of Christian Science and has had some healings through his own recognition of the truth. At different times he has told me he prays a lot.
After a little while Mac said he didn’t feel any better. I asked what he wanted to do, and he said, “Don’t call 911.” I said, “Would you like me to call a Christian Science practitioner?” He responded, “Yes.”
