What a dear, precious issue [June 30, 2014, Sentinel].
Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is ourself, and yet, that is the first place to start—by seeing ourself the way God sees us. 
The Christian Science view of Jesus’ teachings—that they are a living reality today—has led to documented physical healings, restored marriages, employment, and other blessings.
I did not have the skills to do the maintenance work myself, but I knew that a right activity
had the support of God.
It’s helpful for me to remember that being still does not mean doing nothing.
All I could pray was “Thank you, God, for being with me. Thank you for being with the boys.”

The Comforter

    “I’m way out of my comfort zone …, ”     words I so often say,     feeling less than comfortable     however hard I pray.
