Hearing restored
About two and a half years ago I knew I was not hearing well when I couldn’t hear the testimonies at church on Wednesday nights, even though people were using a microphone when they were speaking. I also needed to greatly increase the volume on my TV.
I felt challenged, but I didn’t feel defeated. As I have grown older, I have been pleased by my good hearing but had not been alert when a friend was facing a hearing difficulty. My own experience with a hearing difficulty made me realize that any time we see evidence of such challenges, we need to pray and specifically recognize the unreality of these beliefs, since they don’t exist in God’s kingdom. This supports Christian Science healing for the person with the seeming difficulty and keeps us from accepting the problem as real.
I resolved to change.
