The most important decision of my life
My encounter with Christian Science Primary class instruction came suddenly and spontaneously. I could not possibly have imagined how this unexpected opportunity would alter my life. I like to think that it was evidence of God guiding my journey upward.
I’d scheduled a summer visit with family in another part of the country, accompanied by my 18-month-old toddler. Shortly after arriving, I made an appointment with a longtime friend of our family, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher. Over the years we’d had many wonderful healings with the support of his prayers. While I was in his office, the subject of class instruction came up, and I ended up joining his next class.
I learned so much in that class—no college course could ever compare. My perspective, my aims, and my approach to dealing with life’s challenges were all turned in a different direction.
