State of being
(Acts 17:28)
In Him we live ...
not at some cosmic airport,
souls arriving and departing hourly,
(some scheduled and some not)
bound for other world or underworld
and move ...
with natural grace,
God-given,
not one step forward, two steps back,
(always out of time)
going nowhere fast
and have our being ...
immortal,
neither pawns nor players,
them nor us,
we are excellent ideas,
not homeward bound
but home.
O glorious kingdom!
