I knew my healing would come
When we were visiting my grandmother in Delaware, we went to see a big ship, like a pirate ship, called the Kalmar Nyckel. When we left the ship, I was running really fast, and I ran into the railing on the dock headfirst. It was made of steel. I had a lump on my forehead. My dad carried me home, took care of me, and prayed with me. He told me I was OK because God is everywhere. If God is everywhere, then He is always here. God was taking care of me right then. When we got to Grammy Winnie’s house, my dad asked if I was ready to eat dinner. I wasn’t yet, because I was waiting for my healing. I knew it would come.
The next morning the lump was gone and I was healed.
