Deep cut healed quickly
As an artist I am accustomed to cutting mat board with a utility knife and straight edge, so I decided to use the same method to cut some Plexiglas. I put a new blade in the utility knife and began cutting. I found I had to press quite a bit harder to cut the Plexiglas, so when the blade jumped the straight edge, it cut deeply into my finger and fingernail.
I began to pray immediately, and the first thought that came was that this picture of accident could not possibly be true because there could not be a moment when God was absent and His law of harmony not in operation. I grabbed a paper towel and wrapped it around the finger, not looking again at the injury.
