Letters

My granddaughter had just safely arrived in Los Angeles from a small town in Minnesota. We were relieved to know this after long days of driving west with her younger sister. I had mixed emotions about such a young girl embarking on a venture so far away from home. I knew I needed to stop rehearsing the what ifs and let God take charge of the plans, so I decided to pick up my mail and leave it all to God.

As I was leafing through the mail, I spotted the July 9 Sentinel featuring “The good now and the good ahead.” Angel thoughts compelled me to read this issue now. So I began reading Moira Doyle’s article, “What should I wear?” She teaches fashion design at a private college in Los Angeles. Could it be possible that my talented granddaughter was enrolled in the very same school? Well, I had to find out. My innate curiosity discovered this; yes indeed, both would be at the same school. Is it possible that God planned all this? Yes, since with God all things are possible! Need I worry or fret about my granddaughter? Not when I let go and put her in His protecting hands. Thanks, God, You are such a comforter, not to mention, a great planner!
